A fanlisting is a place for fans of a certain movie, character, thing, actor, relationship, etc. to join other fans in showing how much they love it.

NEAR
This is the official fanlisting for Near (Nia), an anime character from the Death Note series. He is one of the new characters introduced
towards the end of the first part of Death Note, and he and his brother Mello both lived in The Wammy's House, which is the
orphanage founded by Watari in the United Kingdom before their departure.
The second part of the series begins with a time jump and Near is now an important member of the SPK (Secret Provision for Kira)
formed on 12 March, 2009 to further the investigation of Kira. Near is very similar to L when it comes to solving difficult
cases, and this gift will eventually lead Near in solving the puzzle to L's death.
NAME
Is his name Near or Nia? Nia is the correct romanization, and Near is the official spelling. I personally don't prefer one over another, but
I do respect the author's choice of translation.
